Maybe we all r going through this "BeingTwenty-Something".
They call it the "Quarter-life Crisis." It is when you
stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that there are
many
things about yourself that you didn't know and may not like. You start
feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two, but
then get
scared because you barely know where you are now.

You start realizing that people are selfish and that,
maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren't
exactly
the
greatest people you have ever met, and the people you have lost touch
with
are some of the most important ones. What you don't recognize is that
they are realizing that too, and aren't really cold, catty, mean or
insincere, but that they are as confused as you.

You look at your job... and it is not even close to
what you thought you would be doing, or maybe you are looking for a
job and
realizing that you are going to have to start at the bottom and that
scares
you.
Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and
find
yourself judging more than usual because suddenly you realize that you
have certain boundaries in your life and are constantly adding things
to
your list of what is acceptable and what isn't.

One minute, you are insecure and then the next,
secure. You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life. You
feel
alone and
scared and confused. Suddenly, change is the enemy and you try and
cling on to the past with dear life, but soon realize that the past is
drifting
further and further away, and there is nothing to do but stay where
you are or move forward. You get your heart broken and wonder how
someone
you
loved could do such damage to you. Or you lie in bed and
wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough that you want to get
to know
better. Or maybe you love someone but love someone else too and cannot
figure
out why you are doing this because you know that you aren't a bad
person.
One night stands and random hook ups start to look cheap. Getting
wasted
and acting like an idiot starts to look pathetic.

You go through the same emotions and questions over
and over, and talk with your friends about the same topics because you
cannot seem to make a decision. You worry about loans, money, the
future and
making a life for yourself... and while winning the race would be
great,
right now you'd just like to be a contender!

What you may not realize is that everyone reading this
relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times,
trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out. Send this to
your
friends.... maybe it will help someone feel like they aren't
alone in their state of confusion..... GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US!!

Subject: Wife Program

Advance warning to all men!!!

To the rest, any regrets????

Wife Program:

Plz read the following letters:

Dear Tech Support:

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife
1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began
unexpected child processing that took up a
lot of space and valuable resources. In addition,
Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and
now monitors all other system activity.
Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football
5.0, Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6 no
longer run, crashing the system whenever
selected. I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the
background while attempting to run my favorite
applications. I'm thinking about going back to
Girlfriend 7.0, but uninstall doesn't work on Wife
1.0.

Please help! Thanks,
A Troubled User.

REPLY:

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that men complain
about. Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to
Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and
Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an
OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its
Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also
impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to
Girlfriend 7.0. It is impossible to uninstall, or
purge the program files from the system once
installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0
because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this.
Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-
Alimony/Child Support. I recommend that you
keep Wife1.0 and work on improving the
situation. I suggest installing the background
application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software
augmentation. The best course of action is to
enter the command C: \ APOLOGIZE. Because
ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE
command before the system will return to normal
anyway. Wife 1.0 is a great! program, but it tends
to be very high maintenance. Wife1.0 comes with
several support programs, such as Clean and
Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2. However,
be very careful how you use these programs.
Improper use will cause the system to launch the
program Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the
only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0
is to purchase additional software. I recommend
Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0!

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances,
install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This
application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will
cause irreversible damage to the operating
system.

Best of luck,
